So I went in this morning for my first blood work and ultra sound since starting the Follistim last Friday. The nurse said that my Stripe looks beautiful, so that's a plus.
Looks like I don't yet have any follies over 12. She said that I have many 10's and counted 8 on the left and 15 on the right. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they all grow into nice, mature follies!
They just called with my plan and said that my E2 came back at 291. I asked if that was normal and she said "oh, well... yeah with the size follicles you have right now." That's convincing. I really have no idea what any of it means. When she said that I had many growing, I was hopeful and now I really don't know what to think. I am going to try to take it as though I just need a little more time on the follistim, but it is doing it's job!
I will continue on the 225 dose tonight and tomorrow night and go back on Thursday.
Please sing some songs and do some dances for growing follicles for me! (or you could just send your thoughts and prayers, that would do also :-)

10's and 8's are great for where you are at. Don't be discouraged! Your E2 is rising nicely so hopefully you'll be able to avoid the dreaded OHSS! ::crosses fingers::
ReplyDeleteIf it gets above 3000, they worry about OHSS, as I just learned at my last appt. If they didn't raise your dose, I'd say you are doing just fine with that number! ♥
